Airlines to pay compensation for wrongly denying passengers boarding: DGCA The action came from DGCA after Sources alleged that Indian carriers have been overbooking their flights and when the number of passengers exceeds the number of seats in the aircraft, the airlines do not take them on board, reports PTI.
