Sawan Shivratri 2024: Date, Shubh Muhurat, Rituals, Fasting Guidelines, and Significance Shivaratri which falls during Shravana month is known as Sawan Shivaratri. The entire month of Sawan or Shravana is dedicated to worshipping Lord Shiva; therefore, the Shivratri that falls on Sawan is considered highly auspicious.
