Sensex, Nifty close in red mark ahead of US Fed meeting The benchmark indexes hit a low milestone on Wednesday as the Sensex fell 263 points ahead of the US Federal Reserve's decision on monetary policy. The closing values of the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty were approximately 59,450 points and 17,700 points, respectively, down about 0.5 percent.
